Washington appraisal management bond form now available online

Washington Appraisal Management Bond

The Washington State Department of Licensing has made its appraisal management surety bond form available for online download. Washington is one of 10 states that currently has appraisal management bond regulations in place.

As of January 1, 2012, all appraisal management companies who contract with Washington appraisers for appraisal services will be required to maintain a state-issued license. Section 18.310 of the Revised Code of Washington requires appraisal management companies to post a $25,000 appraisal management surety bond as a part of the licensing process. The bond form is available here.
