NASBP Offers Virtual Surety Bond Seminars

Virtual Surety Bond Seminars

The NASBP included the following announcement in its June 30 edition of the NASBP Smart Brief.

You won’t want to miss these upcoming NASBP Virtual Seminars held in July.

At 2 p.m. Eastern time July 12, find out the latest Association for Cooperative Operations Research and Development (ACORD) COIs (certificates of insurance) changes. Register for the two NASBP virtual surety bond seminars titled, “ACORD Certificate Changes for Dummies: What’s changed and what you need to know,” presented by two NASBP members, Donald Appleby of Willis of Colorado and Darrin Weber of IMA of Texas. ACORD is a global nonprofit standards development organization serving the insurance industry. These certificate changes are in response to concerns raised by various state insurance commissioners that COIs must comply with coverage provided by the insurance policy being represented.

Then, at 2 p.m. Eastern time July 26, learn about managing complex surety claims during the Virtual Seminar presented by Rick L. Levesque of The Hartford and Ed Rubacha of Jennings, Haug & Cunningham, who will be representing Pearlman Association.

Register and learn more at NASBP’s website.
