SuretyBonds.com is excited to announce, for the fifth year in a row, that the 2017 Small Business Scholarship is open! The Small Business Scholarship Program awards three $1,500 scholarships to students with small business experience. Students who will be enrolled in college courses full time for Fall 2017 are eligible to enter by writing a 500-1,000 word essay on how small business has shaped their lives.

How does it work?

Applications are open to students in every state. Each student must submit a 500 to 1,000-word essay about how small business has influenced them and their career paths. All entries must be received no later than March 31, 2017 to be eligible for the contest. Applications will only be accepted via email submission to [email protected] along with the required criteria listed in the Official Rules. From the submitted essays, ten finalists will be chosen by the SuretyBonds.com Scholarship Committee, and voters will decide the three scholarship winners. Voting will be open from May 1 to May 31, and the winner will be notified and announced on our blog and Facebook page.
