SuretyBonds.com Small Business Scholarship Finalists Announced

Every year, SuretyBonds.com is proud to host the Small Business Scholarship Program. Students are asked to submit an essay about their small business experience and how it has shaped their lives and paved the way for their future plans. Today, I am excited to announce our 9 finalists in the running to receive a $1,500 scholarship to help invest in their entrepreneurial endeavors.

It’s been a tough month for the SuretyBonds.com scholarship committee as we’ve read hundreds of inspiring and moving stories from students across the U.S. The talent, ambition, ideas and potential we’ve seen come through this year is unmatched. After several rounds of discussions and very difficult decisions, we’ve arrived at our finalists for this year’s program.

Here are the applicants selected as this year’s final 9:

What’s Next?

Now that the 10 finalists have been selected, it’s up to the crowd to decide which three will win a $1,500 scholarship. The voting period opens today and ends on May 31, 2016. You may vote once per day every day until the voting period ends. The three finalists with the most votes will receive a scholarship from SuretyBonds.com. A big thank you to all of those who applied this year and our education partners who helped spread the word.
