What’s the fine print?
Tennessee beauty pageant surety bonds must be payable to the state of Tennessee and are required by the Consumer Affairs Division of the Department of Commerce and Insurance.
This bond type is continuous until canceled. A written notice of cancellation must be sent to the Director of the Tennessee Division of Consumer Affairs 30 days prior to the effective termination date.

Beauty pageant operators must submit an application for registration to the Division of Consumer Affairs before they can conduct business in Tennessee. A $50 nonrefundable registration fee must accompany an operator’s application, along with the appropriate $10,000 surety bond.
