Florida Statute 1002.421 (f) requires that each private school participating in an educational scholarship program file a bond if they have not been in operation for at least 3 school years. The state's official bond form is titled the “Private Educational Institution Bond” but is also known as the “private school bond.” The bond amount required varies by school but must be equal to the scholarship funds for any quarter.
