Why do I need this bond?
Kentucky telemarketing company bonds ensure that principals (telemarketing companies) comply with all provisions of KRS 367.46951 to 367.46999, which is also known as the Telephone Solicitations Act. If the principal fails to adhere to these terms, a claim can be filed against the bond. If the claim is validated, the surety will cover financial losses suffered by harmed parties as a result of the principal’s business practices up to the full bond amount, and the principal must reimburse the surety for damages paid out.

What’s the fine print?
Kentucky telemarketing company bonds remain in full force and effect until violated by the principal or canceled by the surety. The surety can cancel the bond at any time by filing written notice of cancellation with the Attorney General via certified mail 30 days prior to the effective date of the termination.
Kentucky charges a surcharge of 1.8% on all bonds issued.
